I've installed the Component & Module because although we don't have a forum, we have an "Ask a Question about this Product" form on each of our product flypages, and we get a spam email at least once to three times a day through these "contact" forms. Will SpamBomb stop against this? Since installing & enabling it last night, we still got a spam email from "piomevoff

The short answer is no. You'll want to use somekind of captcha for that. I don't recall off the top of my head if virtuemart has that built in or not.

What it will do is stop people registering and logging into your site with known spam email addresses. The component talks to http://www.stopforumspam.com to identify those accounts. So it still has some value to your site but won't fix your root issue.
