HI,

I have been using Red Mystic for a long time now on all of my websites, Over the last few months I have been having Problems, on all sites, I have upgraded to the latest version s of com and Mod, put the Google key on home pages etc.

Anyway I have had some time to try to look into it and I come up with not much,

When Test Connection I get

1 Testing connection to Red Mystic,

2, Sucess connecting to red mystic ,

3 Success

3 Used to be Sucess connecting to Google I thought,  Does 3 still mean the same ?

When in Product monitor and I notify I get

Starting Redmystic feed & sitemap notification...
Trigger Source: User initiated
Checking for product changes
Forcing product reset
Notifying RedMystic
Successfully connected to Redmystic Server
Redmystic successfully notified. You will receive an email soon as to the status of the feed.
Setting synchronization date
Root Sitemap rendered: http://www.thesunglasses4u.com/index.php?option=com_redmystic&view=sitemap&format=raw&layout=raw&sitemap=sitemap.xml

Which all looks good, however I do not seem to get the old messagesd I used to get, i.e  RedMystic Server Retrieved Products

I Notified on this site in question back on the 28th May after the upgrade due to problems, and still no  products retrieved message an no data upload to Google base or red mystic site ranking.

Any ideas, Am I doing something wrong ? Has something changed that I am missing ?

Or is the Red Mystic server  Busy ( as it is Such a Good website ) That is just taking a long time to request the zip file for uploading ?

Hi Joe,

The reason you were't getting emails is because we received messages back from your emails server that your account was full. The reason you weren't posting to google was that until recently your ftp account username/password were not correct.

It looks like you upgraded a few days back and got the account stuff worked out. I'll dig into why your products are showing.

I do have a question for you,

I am having trouble getting a few websites to be listed on Google Shopping ,

One selling Designer Sunglasses that I have in stock www.thesunglasses4U.com ( currently 260 active products )

One Selling the Complete Range of designer sunglasses www.TheSunglassesCenter.com ( Currently 2800 active products )

I cant seem to get the site map uploaded to Google either ,

( ALL works OK fine on my Spare Parts website www.sunglasses-parts.com )

I have lastest versions of  RM Core & Mod

The feed are getting through but are being disaproved,  and I do not know why ?

With your Pro Installation that you offer do you Guarantee to get our Google Merchant feed approved and products listed on google shopping  ?

How much for 2 sites ?

What URL are you submitting to google sitemaps? 

It should be http://{YOURDOMAIN}/index.php?option=com_redmystic&view=sitemap&format=raw&layout=raw&sitemap=sitemap.xml

Figuring out why google disapproves can be difficult. It can be nebulous policy violations or other black box reasons. In your case, is the entire feed being rejected or individual products?

If it's individual products  then there should be reasons listed when you click on the status column of hte feeds page in the merchant center.

If it's your entire feed then I suggest reading through this to see if there are any obvious violations:

Also, recently there have been a tons of posts with people receiving rejections on products and then magically approved or vice versa. Google appears to be making changes . You maybe just falling into that trap. It's hard wrestling with a 500 lb gorilla.

It is the entire Feed unfortunately,

www.thesunglasses4U.com was OK until about 3 weeks ago,

www.thesunglassescenter.com  has been rejected for the whole summer, I have had some response from google saying Duplication, Some of the content is the same as another site of mine, but different items for sale, different prices , different template, different  fly page, different  contacts .

In fact it is owned by My friend who I am trying to help so its a different company to me, It was set up from a Akeeba backup and edited though, so that may be the problem. I suppose its just finding what needs changing to make it Unique if this is the problem.
