Gary, I believe this is one of Googles new specifications for all Aparel coming in in September, http://www.google.com/support/merchants/bin/answer.py?hl=en-GB&answer=188494 ( See Item 5 ) As far as Im aware there is no specific specification in Virtuemart to add these items, We could just add the as an Attribute but will the get the correct Identifiers i.e. [item_group_id], [colour] , [gender], [age_group], [size] ?

At the moment we specify Size in mm as sunglasses come and colour  as per colour code of the sunglasses ( IN Atributes ) , but we do not specify Gender or age group or group item ID

Hi Joe,

Sorry for the long delay. I've been trying to get the next release out.

 

Attributes in general is an outage of the component. It turns out to be pretty complicated when you factor in the way virtuemart does it and how google wants it. I would of done it long ago if it were a bit simpler. Anyway I should have a bit more time now to start thinking it through.

Any Joy with Age Group, Gender and Color attributes for Google upload,

 

We have the Catagories on now, but a message about the above and that feeds to USA will be rejected starting Sept 2011 unless these atributes are included,

 

As a Quick Fix Measure to keep our ads online , could we just specify that all items are unisex , mixed color, and an age group of 16 to 60 for example, we could then apply to every product inside RM ,

Hi Gary,

 

I am wondering if you have found any sort of solution to this?  All of my products are Apparell so when loading to Google Base none show up in Product Search anymore because I have no way of setting "Gender" "Age Group" "Color" "Size" currently to my products with this.

 

Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.
