Hi everyone,

I am trying to get to the bottom of my troubles with the search engine site map. Obviously you have got the front end sitemap for website users but also a second one dedicated to the search engines. I have found the URL in the Event Log which states this URL

www.puretree.co.uk/index.php?option=com_redmystic&view=sitemap&format=raw&layout=raw&sitemap=sitemap.xml

Which loads this as the sitemap

If I add the original URL (http://www.puretree.co.uk/index.php?option=com_redmystic&view=sitemap&format=raw&layout=raw&sitemap=sitemap.xml) into Google Webmasters as a sitemap to crawl it always errors.

Am I doing something wrong???

I have had a quick look through the forum but I cant find anyone else who is having problems! So maybe it is just my site but I would be surprised!

I have tried the new version but I still seem to be having the same problems. I cant get redmystic to create a sitemap url in the log so I have used the same one which might be my problem.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I have installed the new version but I have still got the same problem. I have downloaded and extracted the sitemap and it is still a completely blank sitemap.

In addition when you released the new version you have specified the latest version available is 1.6 not 1.2.6 so the version tab in redmystic always show that you havent got the latest version even if you have!

And the bonehead award goes to me.

Hey what compression routine are you using? you'll find it in the redmystic configuration. I'm guessing zipArchvie.
