The module is how your site will communicate to the RedMystic server to tell it a feed needs to be uploaded. It will not work without the module being published. You need to keep it published because the automatic upload occurs whenever you make changes to products on your site and to keep Google Merchant Center/Google Base listings from expiring. RedMystic will automatically update Google to stop that from happening as long as the module remains published.
